In my ongoing tire research (new tires next spring/summer, probably) for budget replacements for my Clubman S, on a severely limited budget (unless work finds me), I ran across the Instinct VR tire. It's an entry-level performance tire from Goodyear, sold as a Fierce Instinct, Dunlop Instinct, or a Kelly Instinct. Good specs: 215/45-17, AA-A, 400, V-rated, 30K tread warranty. Cheap price at Sam's Club ($98 ea., out the door).

Anyone ever hear of these? Yay? Nay?

Further research (Focalnet) says the tire is based on the Goodyear Eagle GT.
