Help New to the Mini scene

I'm new to the mini game but thinking about getting new wheels.

How would 17X8 +25mm with 205/45's sit on a 07 Mini Cooper S?

Stock height for now will probably be lowering an inch or two soon.

Looking for a flush look not a lot of poke.

Wheels in mind.....

All info is greatly appreciated. Looked around the site for a couple days now and can't find the info.

Thanks,

Newbie

For that setup expect about a 5mm poke.

You can minimize the poke by running more negative camber front and rear.

Any issues with clearance with the 205/45's? Also any idea would that tire size would look like on a 8" wheel?
