I have been trying to find some new, lighter wheels for my R53. It has the S-Not-so-lite's on them right now and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S are about shot.
What do you guys think about the Rota Slipstream in 16x7, full polished with 225/45/16 BFG KDW II on them. My car is Dark silver so I figured black would be to dark and frankly, I don't think the sliptreams look very good in black.
So, what do you guys think? Be honest, I'm about to spend well over $1000 on a wheel/tire combo and want to know the truth!
I like the slipstreams in every color almost except for polished hahahaha. But wheels are really a subjective thing. If you wanna know how they look... try doing a search on any search engine and look for images. My .02 cents.
I think I'll go for it, I just wasn't sure if it was to much of a Honda wheel. What attracted me is how light they are! Just under 15# for 16x7! Not the lightest but for the price, pretty decent.
How much are you willing to spend? If you are going with KW V2s then it sounds like you might have some money to get decent wheels. I would suggest NM RSe05s like I am getting because they are 17x.5 and weight 16lbs. Also at $260 a wheel that isn't terribly expensive.

Hmm If by KW V2 you mean KDW II, they are only 530 for the set in the preferred size. So not very expensive at all. I'm looking to spend less than $600 for a set of wheels including delivery. $260 is just a little to much for this poor college student.

Yeah my bad I thought you said that you were getting KW V2 coilovers. I read that way too fast. Also I have some KDW 2s on some OZs that I am trying to get rid of. They are great tires for the money.

No worries haha I figured you read it wrong! How much you want for the OZ's?
