16x7 tire size
I recently picked up a set of Slipstreams, and now just need to get some tires to go along with them.
Can anyone confirm that 225/45/16 tires will work with 16x7 +40 wheels and stock suspension? Bonus points if you have any pics![Wink2](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
(Sorry if this is obvious - I tried searching, but wasn't able to find anything conclusive)

Well 225/45/16 has a nice selection of extreme performance summer and DOT track tires and not much else. Dunlop Dirreza ZII, BFG KDW2 Toyo R1R, all of which are pretty expensive ($500-600) but awesome tires.
215/50/16 has some decent max performance summer tires and some ultra high performance summers. The Falken 453, Yokohama S.drives, Hankook V12 and more affordable ($400-500).
205/50/16 has a little bit of everything available.
At stock height none of these should be a problem. If choosingwith performance and cost in mind I would go with 225/45 Dunlop Direzza ZII first, 215/50 Hankook V12 second
