Didn't help!
really depends where you live. If you're in LA, summer tires all around
worked just fine for me. Here in Chicago, i take it real easy on the S03's
in the winter when i take her out for a quick spin on a dry weekend day.
I take my commuter out in the winter with all seasons. safest bet.
Alex, how come you don't carry Falken tires?

I really like the looks of the S03 from the side better than any other tire. However, their tread is not as aggressive looking as other performance tires (i.e., Yoko ES-100, Goodyear Eagle GS-D3), which you don't notice unless you are looking at them from the front or back. But I still like the look of their tread -- it's unique, and to me it's aggressive and meaty. I've heard they are a little heavy, but I question that. I've heard the Toyo Proxes T1's are just about the lightest street/performance tires.

jazmini- the thing about the S03's treadpattern isn't just for looks.
It actually pushes out water from under the tire much better than
the other designs ive seen. S03's in the rain will easily out
perform ES100's, Spec2's, etc.
They perform so well that on a awd car like my rex, unless you're
pushing the limits the car will handle as if it was on dry roads.
but yah, they are heavy tires. I hear great things about those T1's.
very lightweight. How well do they grip?

Hey kenchan,
Those S03's sound awesome in the rain. Their tread patter looks really cool to me. As I just have the MC, weight is a big thing to me. But who knows what I'll end up getting (later though). I am in the DC area where there is bad weather and rain, not too much snow usually though. So, they would work well here.
Samawil above mentioned that he had a set of Toyo Proxes T1S and they are a great street tire with some track use, but they did get greasy on the track after you ran them awhile. So, they sound very good. Also, Dreamin on MINI2 posted a picture of his SSR Comps (15 x 7) with the Toyo Proxes T1-S (205/55/15) on Jan 10 2004, and the Comps weighed 9.3 lbs and the Toyos weighed 18.3 lbs. That sounds really good to me!
