New non run-rlat tires and DCS problem
Just switched to 16" non run flats on my R53 . On my way home after driving approx 60 miles the DSC light came on when I hit local traffic. It was intermittent with the engine power going off and on. Will I need to switch out of the non run flats or get the sensors turned off? thx Ron

Has NOTHING to do with the tires......that is runflat VS NON-runflat...
The DSC system uses the ABS sensors on each hub to determine if the tires are spinning...and then reduces power, and activated brakes individually to keep the car straight....
What did you buy for tires?...if they are less grippy that Ulta-HighPerformance all seasons, you MIGHT actually be spinning the tires...
My car, like most gen1 coopers have not had runflats since the OEM tires wore-out with about 30,000 miles...NO ISSUES.
