I didn't want to read that! I'm in the market for non run flat tires and the reviews on these were great so was considering them. Wouldn't the warranty kick in if they only last 10k miles?
When you drive a grippy soft rubber tire you can't expect it to last.
Extreme and Max Summer tires will last about 12-14K miles for most owners or about 1-1.5 years, even with tire rotation.
I love my Bridgestone Potenza's RE970. Very sticky in the spring and summer so far! Winter wasn't bad, but I'm gonna buy some Blizzys for the winter!
Bridgestone RE970AS is a good example of an Ultra High Performance All Season tire.
It has good dry and wet handling, can operate in cold weather and light snow, is moderately comfortable and quiet enough for daily driving, and it wears moderately well.
If you want more performance look at Max Summer tires.
If you want more comfort look at Grand Touring All Season tires.
