aftermarket lug *nuts* with oem wheels

I bought the TSW stud conversion kit for my r56. I want to install it, then go to a wheel shop to get my aftermarket wheels installed.

Can I use my BWR lug nuts with my OEM black star bullet wheels to drive to the wheel shop (25 miles, tops) safely?

In order to install the studs you will be doing half the labor of installing another set of wheels anyway. After you install the studs why not just stick the new wheels on yourself?

The new wheels have no tires on them. That's why I need to go to the wheel shop. lol.

I need my OEM wheels removed to they can take the tires off and get my TPMS, then put my brand new rubber on my new wheels with the TPMS.

New wheels:

We took them apart, painted the faces purple, polished the lips, and resealed them (they're three piece wheels.)

Why not just have the shop put the studs on for you? It's not that hard and they shouldn't charge you much more if anything at all since you're doing everything else.

Why pay when I can do it myself? I'm a very hands-on person.

All finished.

I only suggested having the shop do it because you mentioned you weren't sure if the nuts would work.

Personally i'd rather be safe than sorry if something were to happen on the way over to the shop.

Installed! I drove to the wheel shop and stopped 3x to check my lugs along the way...all was tight!

I don't have any real good pics yet. My car is filthy and it's been rainy out.
