Brake Help Please!!!!

My right front wheel is already off, and nothing about the caliper looks like any of the videos I've watched on this site, or the pictures in the Performance Mini book! There are no rubber caps, no hex bolts, just four bolts and none of them want to budge. I have a 2010 Clubman S, already bought the rotors and green pads, and now it looks like I'll just have to put the wheel back on and hope the garage will put on the parts I bought. Any ideas? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks, dennis lowe

The 2010 calipers are easier than the earlier ones your talking about. Just look at the bolts and you'll see how it comes off, or look at the bentley manual it is the best, that performance book is a joke.

Thanks Waylon

Thanks Waylon. I meant to write back to you and say thanks for the quick service and great price on my K&N Street filter, It's great! I got one of the bolts with the rubber sleeve to move, but it never came out, it just seemed to spin around, is it the other two? Thanks

You need to grip hex head on the inner bolt, then turn the outer bolt. The inner hex head is a bit thin so my wrench doesn't fit on it. I've ended up using some vice grips to hold it.

Also make sure you're turning the wrench the right way. I got confused because the bolt is pointing away from me. I managed to tighten it so much it sheered off.
