Okay I have finally narrowed it down to just picking a color on wheels. (honest, i mean it this time) 16 inch SSR Comp.

I have a red/white MCS. Should I get silver or anthracite SSR comps? Silver I think goes better with the color combo, but the wheel looks nicer in anthracite imo. Thanks.

does the anthracite come with a polished lip or is that optional? if it does i think you should go with silver. Just because im not a big fan of polished lips.

I think anthracite looks better, a bit deeper and contrasts well with the polished machined lip that is standard with the SSR Comp but missing on the Comp R rims.

Silver is also good and also comes with the polished lip. Can't go wrong really but there is a brighter and lighter look.

The comp R rims lack a centercap, have no machined lip, are beefier so not lower in weight and only come in anthracite 16x6.5"

I got a set up gun metal finish (similar to anthracite, probably no difference) 5-spoke deep dish wheels with a polished lip and they look sharp. The MINI garners plenty of attention on its own, but since I put the wheels on, hoards of people (including at the dealer/service center), have been coming up to me asking about the wheels, and nothing but compliments... except from the wife, she's not too crazy about them, but everyone else in the world, including ME, loves 'em.

BTW, I've got an IB/W S... I'll try to post pics...

Anthrasite is a light gray. Gunmetal is like a dark bronze, almost.
Dont be confused with the "Light Gray" finish of Mille Mglias they sell
at the tire rack.

SSR anthrasite = light gray
MM Light Gray Painted = mid-dark gray
Gun metal = very dark gray

I have the SSR comps in anthrasite on my silver WRX. Looks very good.
The polished lip is not an added option on the Comps.

okay well in the end it is ultimately your own decision and I have decided on the anthracite. does anyone know where i can purchase SSR Comps 16 inch with a 215/45/16 size tire. (Falken Azenis Most Likely)

Im going with 16x7.5. Is there another tire that matches the Falkens in a similar size? Im ready to buy now.

And I you, Run 36 psi to use full inflation capability for that size.
I still would not tell you to run that size.
