I have noticed that the lug bolts loosen up over the course of a Track Day. Usually four 20 to 25 minute sessions. I use Flik Blast 15 x 6.5 in. wheels with 205 / 50 / 15 Falken Azenis Sports and the lug bolts that came with the Fliks. I torgue them 88.5 lb-ft (120 n-m). I am sure the loosening occurs because of the heat cycling of the front brakes. I have several questions:
1) Would it be better to torque to a higher value for Track Days?
2) Should I use the MINI lug bolts instead of the ones that came with the Fliks?
3) Should I stop worrying and check torque after each session?

Thanks in advance.

Regardless of what wheels, what lug nut/lug studs you use, ALWAYS re-torque wheels each session.

Torque to 80-88 pounds after each session. Should be fine.

Yes! - retorque before starting text session, wait for wheels to cool down a bit!

Thanks guys

I got it. Retorque just before I grid up for the next session so things are cooled down.
