Newbie! Best all around spring/shock combo for aggressive s

Any input would be appreciated! New to the Mini. I've been doing DEs and track events 2-3 times a year since '96 in my '90 Carrera2. TheC2 has Bilsteins HDs and H& R coilovers along with a good alignment and weight balancing. But it's a daily driver and is compromised for the street. Is there a "proven" suspension setup for such an application for a MCS?
Thanks
Thanks

Alex,
Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the Koni's? I just installed the Eibach pro kit and would likely put Bilsteins on my Mini if they were available. Unfortunately they're not so I'm considering installing Konis instead.
Thanks!
>>I have heard H sport /Koni being the best setup with your ride quality and look balanced!

Sounds like H-sport springs/Koni adjustable struts/shocks with H-sport camber plates in front and full 4 rear adjustable control arms in rear plus H-sport tubular competition rear adjustable swaybar.
Good luck

Koni Sport are one of my favore applications. They have a lifletime rebuild warranty - meaning - wear them out, Koni will rebuild them forever, as long as your the original owner.
Thew part I like the best is that the compression damping on the Sport is fixed - while the rebound damping is adjustable. For street vehcles you "usually" would not adjust the compression as a heavily damped compression stroke results in feeling major feedback - AKA being beaten - wich is fun on a track where pavement is next to purfect. ( except the corners of Mid Ohio - just kidding )
What your adjustment allows is full rebount control - Rebound is after the impact caused the springs to be compressed - the action of returning back to normal size. You can pick a lesser damping - for a plus ride - or a fimer damping for the reduction in roll - the ideal performace setting.
All the while you adjust it yourself witha basic dial tha drops right on the shock - adjustment takes about 3 minutes for the whole car!

I like the H&R spring/Koni adjustable/H&R 19mm rear swaybar setup, personally... like the slightly lower stance on the H&R's. Adjustable camber plates up front and adjustable control arms from any vendor you'd like...
Since the rear Konis are impossible to adjust without dropping the struts, I'd ask Randy Webb or the people in the auto-x forums what they like the setting to be in the rear...

Nothing aginst any of the other shocks, I have Koni on two other cars (old ones), but its a set it and leave it alone. If you like to play with your settings the Koni/Bilstiens are great since you can dial them in or out, which I have on another. Each have their pro/cons (minor), and Bilstien has a life time warrantee as well. I'm going to go out on a limb and try the Tein shocks with the EDFC unit that lets you dial the settings from the dash. Most of the new cars (expensive) out there are going to a electric shock configuration for street or track. Maybe when I was younger I didnt mind pulling the Koni's out (old school) and changing the setting, but now I'd rather be driving it. My $0.02 worth.

i have eibachs and konis, they ride pretty stiff, but handling on them is phenomenal
