I have a 2011 Clubman S with Bridgestone 195/55-16 run flats. I have to get rid of the run flats or get rid of the car. Want to replace with 205/55-16 Michelin Pilot A/S 3. Anyone upsize 1/2" wide and 1/2" dia with out any rubbing issues?
Seems everyone ditches the runflats and/or changes wheels, but not sure if they are changing sizes too. Sounds like just getting rid of the rf tires makes a HUGE difference
I changed my tires from the stock continental RFTs to Goodrich sport tires as per Way's recommendation. I have much more grip and control. The ride quality is slightly improved. I haven't heard on slight differences causing rubbing... unless you've lowered your car?
Skyhook, my car is stock suspension wise besides from tire swap. Way suggested BFGoodrich g-force Sport COMP-2. They are about $100 before installation. Much more grip & control. The ride is better but I expected a bigger difference. BIG potholes don't hit me as hard now though.
