I know of a cool 16" that would work with a stud conversion but sadly the smaller diameter wheel options are quite limited.

Cool- are those the VW Heritage wheels? Did they fit without any modifications? I'd love to see them in black... and lowered... =)

Jeff
There are ways to get away without modifications to get around the small centerbore and different lug seats, but I was changing from black to white so I had all the proper machine work done.

Has anyone tried fitting 9's yet? Looking at getting 18x9 et22. I know they'll poke about 1.5in but can pull them back in with a little bit of camber

I'm pretty sure you will need to stretch tires a bit or do a fair amount of trimming to the plastic fenders

Yeah you will have lots of clearance issues especially if you go low. Wheel wells are not forgiving in the F56. I have only 75" wide but my tires are 8.5" wide et 45. I clear the rear fender by 3-4mm and the front struts by 3mm. Front camber is .8 rear 1.7.

9's will not fit without widened arches or a modified rear trailing arm or extreme camber/tire stretch.

Plan on doing this. Thinking of trying to rig a way to make the mk5 flares work on our cars

Will do! Hopefully will be taking off one of my fenders this week and seeing if the curvature is the same as the mk5's. Would be awesome if they are close enough to make it work!

I'm looking at 17x8 et 35 on stock suspension... thoughts? rubbing? The only issue I foresee is poking out... a lot....

John, do you have any clearance issues? Rubbing or anything?

He is running a stock size tires which is narrower and less diameter than mine plus the H n R springs have less drop and same offset so he will S not rubbing.

Wheel fitment has always baffled me. So here's what I am up against. I have a 2016 JCW coming. I am looking at dropping it on either BC or KW V1s (not sure on which one of these either). I am trying to figure out if I can get a 18 x 8.5 (either et 35 or45) to fit. Any ideas or thoughts?

I was seriously considering those exact wheels about a week ago. Frankly I didn't like the look of them on the f56 but they should fit but they will poke out big time. Idk how low you'll be able to go with coils without rubbing

Yeah, an 8.5 won't fit in the front without some poke. IMHO, R99's setup of 18x8 et 45 in the front is the best fitment I've seen. You could probably fit an 18x8.5 in the rear.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I may follow in R99s footsteps ..
