This was 18x8 et 32, so you would poke out an additional 3.3mm past the exterior of the fenders and the inner wheel would be 9.3mm closer to the strut. The perfect flush fit (IMHO) is 18x8 et 45. So theoretically it would fit (your setup would have 3.7mm more clearance on the inside), but it would poke past the fenders quite a bit.

I was using vw golf fitment to searching wheels.since some of site like ecs,tirerack have limited selection for f55,f56.and I know they also fit on cooper.found some 8.5" with et35 wheels r look good and plan to get.but now I think I will get the kosei k8r.

G Street SCCA Autocross compliant setup
Well it's winter, and so bench racing and minute improvements are all I have (except for an antique Grand Prix Legends simulator which never gets old).
So here - for your dining and dancing pleasure, and for your suggestions too, is the thought process on wheels/tires for 2016. It's the wheels part that I am putting here for your expert feedback - who knows what the tire companies have up their sleeves yet for the next year of competition.
So for SCCA G Street poke is out. Here's the rules!
Wheels:
A. It is the same width as standard and as installed it does not have an
offset more than ±¼” (±6.35mm) from a standard wheel for the car.
The resultant change in track dimensions is allowed.
B. Wheel (rim) diameter may be increased or decreased 1” from the
standard part.
Wheel spacers are permitted provided the resultant combination complies
with the offset requirements of this section. On vehicles supplied
with an OE wheel spacer, the wheel spacer shall be considered as a
part of the wheel. Wheel studs, lug nuts, valve stems (including pressure-
relief types), and/or bolt length may be changed. Tire pressure
monitoring sensors may be removed.
So since the stock wheels for the F56 are one of:
16x6.5 ET: 54 17x7 ET: 54 18x7 ET: 54
That means I can do a max width of 7", and must remain within the range of ET 48-60 mm.
Despite folk wisdom to the contrary, in this application the 16" diameter is the right answer, so last year I ran the Sparco Asieta Gara 16x7 ET 48 at 16 lbs per wheel. They were available and not wildly expensive, and served Gollum very well in the 2015 season.
However, I found the OZ Superleggera meets the same specifications at 14.8 lbs and so I am seriously considering stupid money for small gains.
If you think I am doing this just to hide the shame of having slightly curbed the Sparcos last summer you are only partially correct...
In fact, as the B38 equipped F56 has turned out to be fast enough to run with the National level Focus ST based on last year's results I am pledging myself to a committed 2016 season including two National events and the Finale in Lincoln.
So no excuses!

This is cool. I have the same car as you, and have a set of the RSe12's in 18 x 8 that should be delivered shortly. I've gone with the silver color, Now all we need is someone with white silver to order the graphite color wheels and we'll have the full catalog on the site.

Very few options for mods on the F56, especially the JCW...that's where my experience is...you have many more options without the large Brembos on the JCW.

Yes, it sets very nice on the NM, like that should be factory.

What's funny is I befriended one of the Mini mechanics and he helped me do the springs along with one of his buddies who is a BMW mechanic and when we were done they both said the same thing. It should come stock looking like this and not have a big *** wheel gap.

If you look at the concepts that the designers come up with, if given the option they'd have everyone nearly laying frame But between the ridiculous regulations and laws requiring headlights to be a certain height and pedestrian safety stuff for when drunk people stumble in front of you, plus taking comfort and practicality into account, we end up with essentially SUVs at this point.

i am running 215/45/17's on stock wheels. no rubbing and i no longer want spacers as the fill out the wheel wells nicely. i have the michelin pilot super sports. awesome tire and even a little wider than others at that size. you may want to take a look at those...

No, they are definitely 7" wide.....afaik MINI does not make a wheel wider than 7" (at least for the hatchback)...the configurator is WRONG for the 18" two-tone cup spokes ("still")...ridiculous....that really screwed up my plans for larger tires. 7.5" rim width would be better imo with 215/40/18's...that's about as big as you can go without really being close to rubbing. You can fit 18" x 8" wheels but that's getting pretty wide considering the maximum width tire fitment without rubbing (they'll look a bit "stretched").

From the G Street perspective the JCW Cup Spoke would allow me to run a 17x7.5 within the rules ONLY if I had purchased the car with the JCW Package option which included those wheels (which I didn't).
Thanks for pointing out the precedent though - I didn't know the 18x7.5 were out there

I bought a spare 18" cup spoke wheel & it is definitely 7" wide....I physically measured inside mounting surface at 7" & outside face of rim width right at 8".
Get on realoem.com and check out the specs. There Configuration incorrectly lists the width at 7.5"... I've been down this path before.
