Official F56 Wheel Fitment Thread

Has anybody fitted the 18" NM RSE12 JCW-Spec (ET40, 7.5 width) with a 225/40r18?
Thinking of getting the ET40 version instead of ET45 since I'm planning to retrofit the JCW brakes in the future.
Any problem with rubbing the fender or the shock? I'm lowered on KW V2 but not slammed. Thanks!

Just across this when I was searching some parts for my mini. Read the last line in the 1st photo! And take a look the ET in second photo. So from my understanding, if you are looking to get coilover in the future you must get wheels with ET 40 in order to not use any spacers? Photos are took from NM engineering website. Is this correct?

Edit:ET 35

Depends on tires, suspension, and brakes (JCW or no?)..for my JCW I'd prefer a 7.5" wide wheel as this will give you more space between the tire (if not too wide) and the strut. I believe that the NM Wheels made for the JCW are 7.5" wide with ET 40 or 45, and both fit without spacers (whether you go 17" or 18"). I prefer 18's personally. I've not bought a second set of wheels yet, but when I do I won't be going with an 8" wide wheel...7.5" is plenty even for a wider tire.

When I purchased my car, it came with the standard 16" rims for the MCS. I had the dealer swap them out for the 17" tentacle spoke rims. My question is: how many lbs of air do these require as aposed to the 16" wheels? The tag on my door tells me the spec for the 16" as the car was originally built for the 16" wheels. The 17" wheels came with the Dunlop sport max RT.

I'm running a set of avant garde M310s, 18x8 et 45 with 225/40/18s. I'm also lowered on NM springs.
Absolutely no rubbing in the front. Rear rubbed slightly on the inside top of the fender well and the plastic lip that sticks out. I trimmed the plastic and maxed out the camber and no more rubbing.

can we see some pics? i am thinking getting M220 with same spec but according to avant garde, it's a no go on my car

Very close. Well done. You have near zero wheel gap, but just enough. F55 done right.

I have no idea Vetsvette. Lol. I think I need to save my pennies for a bit before I can even think about more car parts. I'm sure if needed, I can get a 5mm spacer to push he offset +50 to +45. People seems to have found a sweet spot at +45
Didn't really get a good angle, but most likey need 5-8mm spacer to clear jcw bbk. Not sure, or didn't measure at all.
