Official F56 Wheel Fitment Thread

I checked with the manufacturer and the rim shop, and they both agreed that my "soon to be" setup is literally the max that could go on the car without modding the flares. I plan to lower the car, but not nearly as low as yours. The potholes in Toronto would wreck the rims and suspension. The rim shop also suggested that 205 tires would also help with the fit.

Were you running spacers on your first setup? Is there a particular brand of tire that you'd recommend? I got a good price quote on Yoko S.Drives balanced and mounted, but I'm still shopping around.

Planning on a bbk also at some stage so edging towards the lower Et numbers for clearance
Existing rubber from my R 53
Have some yokohama ad08r in 215/45/17
And winter 225/45/17 (from Audi TT so wide) to throw in the mix

I"ve been wondering just how the 225's would work. I have 205 x 50 x 17's and they just fit. Look really mean on my roadster. Next year will be a factory JCW hatch, so wondering if there is more wheel clearance with the F series.

I have no idea. I don't even know how the adjustable OEM dampers work actually. If the top mounts of the struts are the same as the non-adjustable version then I'd imagine it would work. The BC coils use the OEM top mounts on the F56 coilovers but I suspect it will be replaced with the camber plates.
You'd have to email them.

Hi guys. I have the OEM 16" black rims on my 2015 2 Door Hardtop.
I want to know what the best size tire to go with is on these rims without risking rubbing or compromising the drive or odometer accuracy.
Would 215/50/16 be ok? I currently have the 195/55/16 run flats.
I want to just give the car a wider sportier stance with better grip than runflats without altering the suspension.

So at one point I managed to bend the metal under the front arch while trying to get out of a really crappy driveway and decided to fold it under instead of bending it back into it's original position, and now I've noticed that the arch doesn't sit quite right at that spot anymore.
What that leads me to believe is that we could instead pull the metal away from the wheels even further and end up with an easy way to "pull" the fenders. They're not nearly as rigid as the R56 were, I think they would easily adapt to the metal underneath being pulled. I'm going to test it out next weekend to see.
I haven't checked to see if it would work the same for the rear but I'll take a look while I'm working on the fronts.

Don't come to the northeast, then.
Car looks great, though!
