Rota are good in 17"

Check with Rspeed.net and ask them about Rota wheels but instead of the 16x7" wheels that they normally sell on their site for MINIs ask about 17x7" wheels.

Here is an example from another source but try Rspeed.net first since they know MINIs.

Rota Battle rims

17x7.5" +45mm offset 16.5 pounds, about $545 a set of four rims.
Check with edgeracing.com for tires or get them from Rspeed.net
Falkens and Toyos.

Stock 17" S-lytes are 25.1 pounds each rim!

How about some ADA and SpeedEdition wheels from tirerack? I have the TK5
and they look very nice for dressup (well, they are my winter set).

SpeedEditions (Fox brand) come powder coated and have a very strong
finish as if they were OE wheels.

I would also try your local Discount Tire Store. I have seen some very inexpensive wheels there and someitmes Manager Specials.
