Green Stuff Pads & a Weekend at the Track
OK, so I have swapped out the OEM pads for the EBC Green Stuff pads, great at cutting down the dust, street perfomance is improved, and otherwise very satified with these pads. How well will these pads hold up to 5 hours of track time over a two day period???? Will I need to replace the EBC's after the weekend at the track????

I've had two track days on my EBC green stuffs with crossed drilled rotors and they have held up very well. I'm not much of a trail braker and tend to dive bomb (late and heavy braking) and they have performed admirably. Towards the end of a session when they are wicked hot they require quite a bit of pressure but still grip very well.
Stainless steel lines and Motul racing fluid has made a huge difference too.

It all depends how heavy you brake foot gets.

For those who can match the speed of the car in front of them and stay steady and ahead of those behind them, watch your entry speeds going into turns and not mash on the brakes last minute, your brakes no matter which ones you have will be doing better and staying cooler longer. Repeated hard braking results in heat built up and brake fade.
We have several MINI owners that started with EBC greens and have since moved on to Ferrodo DS2500 track/street pads and are doing well for using them on light track and autocross. These pads handle heat better for light track.
I think you will do fine, just be sure to let your brakes cool off at the end of each session and use your cool down lap to "cool down". Watch your brake fluid and if you boil the stock fluid then upgrade to Motul or ATE superblue.

My main interest is autocross with an occasional day at the track/driving school. My biggest concern was brake fade toward the end of a track session, but from the info passed on here, most of that should "fade away" after this weekend. Since this weekend I will be changing over to SS brake lines and putting ATE Super Blue in. I have already put EBC slotted & dimpled rotors on the front and the rear remain stock. Is there any real real to put a set of the EBC rotors on the rear, other than to have all four rotors the same???
What percentage of braking force do the rear rotors supply????

The rotors in rear and 100% responible for brake power. They are intended to be biased in that fasion. Concider a lesser friction material, like OE for rears.
Rotors can match, for cosmetic's sake. Or mabey a HAWK HPS front, with EBC rears.
