Not too long ago I placed an online order with Tire Rack for four wheels (Kosei K1 17x7.5) and tires (Potenza RE050A). Three business days later the FedEx lady dropped them off at my door. A few days later I ordered another wheel and tire for use as a spare from Tire Rack, and again it arrived in three business day. The tires were mounted and the wheels were balanced at no additional charge.

Prompt and accurate shipping and better prices than purchasing locally - - what more could I want?

Here’s one of the wheels

nice picts.

I painted the hubs with engine enamel paint (black) so the
rust doesn't show through... its just a personal preference thing.

Do you use that U-lock for wheel theft prevention? j/k

nice bike too!

I don't have any close ups of the hub. I took the wheels off, masked off
the rotor and just sprayed away. On the front, I did the same as the
rear, but made a circular mask over the center nut so that I don't get
paint on that nut.

Those Kosei K1 silver or white rims look sharp and match the MINI very well. Much better than 17" stock wheels.

They are a good alternative to the pricey SSR comps (anthracite and silver finish with machined lip) which are strong and lighter but expensive.

Enjoy.

I sure would like to see a thread in the Interior and Exterior Mods forum about your illuminated coin holder.

??!! Let me see if I can find a normally closed push switch at
RadioShack or somewhere people have easy access to. I've seen
many normally opened ones but not NC's... Im not sure if the ones
sold at stores would fit in the rib inside the cup to anchor the sw
down.

It's really easy to make if you can find that sw.

I had to make the switch out of a push pen (used the spring, the ink
shaft, couple RC car parts, pen housing). It's just a LED with the sw,
and a litheum battery.

back to the Kosei's.
