Tires for 18" Wheels
This is the first time I've added custom wheels to a car, but this is the first time I've owned a car that rocks as much as a Mini. Anyways, I recently purchased a set of Konig Tantrum 2 18"/7.5 wheels, and now its tire time. I've been trying to calculate the tire size I'm going to need, but I've not been having much luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction or shoot me a size that will work well on an 18" wheel with stock suspension on a S?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Aloha and welcome to NAM.
215/35-18 is a good place to start and is a perfect fit for that rim width in a MINI.
A tirerack.com search shows in that size-
Kumho Ecsta MX (max performance summer) YR rated for $119 each
Yokohama Parada Spec-2 (ultra high perf. summer) WR rated $138 each
Pirelli Pzero nero M&S (ultra high perf. all season) WR rated $131 each
(very good performance, might tramline)
and others. Talk to alex@tirerack for more info.
