R-108 or TSW Mallory?

Hello.

My aftermarket wheels for my 2011 Clubman went bent and cracked. I have to purchase a new set.

I am considering either the R-108 OEM or a TSW Mallory. The salesperson claims that the TSWs are forged. I was told that the R-108s are single cast.

I live in a pothole prone area.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks!

I took advantage of a 20% offer and bought a set of genuine MINI wheels.

If you bought an R-108 17x7" wheel and drive on bad roads then you can choose a tire that is more forgiving and less jarring.

Worst option is OEM runflat.

For softer and taller sidewall you can select 215/45-17 which fits stock suspension and OEM wheels fine.

In Grand Touring All Season tires-

Depending on your budget there are some good tires available-
