H springs and Superleggera's

Wondering if anyone could give me real world experience with 17" OZ Superleggera's and H sport spring combination...have you experienced rubbing issues, and if so were you able to eliminate with some fender lip modifications?

I don't mind a bit of trimming but don't want to resort to drastic measures to prevent rubbing. Other options would include 17" SSR Comps or Kosei K1 TS's.

Thanks, Deryk

The OZ Superleggera 17x7" rims have an offset of +37mm which is fine for the stock suspension. When you add the H-sport springs you will have rubbing because the offset limit is about +42mm.

Just get a dremmel tool and trim away the places where the inner wheel liner plastic rubs agains the tire under load or when turning. The tire will scuff up the wheel well and you can feel the areas that need trimming.

Tires that have a square shoulder like the Yokohama AVS ES100s are going to rub more easily than those tires with a rounded shoulder.

I think you'll be okay with the SSR's but as minihune mentioned, the
rear is going to rub with those +37 wheels. I would recommend
trying the ParadaSpec2's.
