Kosel K1 Wheels?

Kosel K1 Wheels?
Does anyone have any experience with the Kosel K1 Racing wheels? I currently have the 17" S-Lites with stock runflats and need a change. The one piece of advice I ignored from NAM when I ordered my MCS in November was not to get those wheels, but I'm a hard headed type....
So, I'm now in the market for a nice 16" wheel (spirited street and very occasional track day use). The Kosel K1 Racing looks nice (pretty simple and clean look), and I'd like to show it with Potenza S-03s because I have a set of those on my last car and loved them. Although I am open to suggestions on tires that give an awesome combination of dry traction, ride comfort and tread life.
Any thoughts?

im running re750s on mine... so far i LOVE them since they are a slight step down from the S03s, but so far they never ever squeal... never even during very hard cornering... but howls like nothing else on the highway, but are a bit less expensive than the s03, and i doubt you'd really feel much difference
koseis are nice wheels... i know a friend who is running a set on his r-compounds and have no complaints

That's the setup I've been using for nearly a year now (K1 + S03). I absolutely love it. Tires handle great on anything but snow, and stick great on the track once they're heated up. Wheels are easy to clean and look fairly racey (not ricey!). Overall, a great value on the wheels and great performance on the tires.

I bought 17 x 7.5 Kosei K1's for open track use and have been very satisfied with them. A very good balance of fairly light weight and low cost. I run Kumho MX's (205/40/17) for the same reason. A word of caution however! The Kosei wheels are 7.5" wide which will take you out of stock class if you ever intend to run auto-x. I moved from California to Oregon last year and tracks are not as plentiful so I started running auto-x instead. Just the wheels and a rear bar have put me in STX class, running against more highly modified cars. I have no experience with the S-03's but I hear nothing but good about them.

Nice wheel, strong, decent price. I have two sets for my track car. The only problem I've ever had was with the original aluminum valve stems. The valves would back out of the stems when they got hot (and I'm talking very hot... from track use). This would never be an issue on the street and hasn't repeated since adding some additional brake cooling. I've been considering a set for my Mini as it is afflicted with the extremely heavy S-Lites.
