New shoes on the R53! Not to bad

I just got these G wheels i red that were also made for Prodrive.
Size 17x7.5 with Concave too. I also changed out the wheel bolts to studs and went with tuner lugs. I'll be putting new Drilled rotors on it in a few weeks also.

Thanks for the pictures, certainly unique.

Is there are reason you are going with drilled rotors? For looks?

If you are replacing brake pads and rotors for better stopping then try contacting Way at Waymotorworks.com, he has many options for both rotors and pads.

Unless you are trying to go for the drilled rotor look, there are better options for rotors at the same price or better.

It was a pain! You need a jack with Jack stands and or a buddy with a lift. Use more screws that it comes with cut I hit a large puddle of water one day and it came off lol. I'm going to get the carbon fiber one soon it's really nice. Ebay for $289 the one i have is $89.

Well I had drilled and slotted rotors on my wrx and they worked great! I'd like to go the jcw front calipers and rotors but I just don't have the $2k to spend at this time

I'd go to Ecs for rotors, way cheaper. You can get refurbed powder coated red JCW calipers from rockauto for 130 a piece. Could just do the poor mans jcw brake upgrade, that's what I'm currently working on.

Go this route for your R53. It's much cheaper and is exactly the same brake set up. I did mine for approximately $500. Look on the Marketplace or ebay for a set of 2007+ front calipers. I found a set from a 2011. Like the rims by the way
