front brake sensors

on my 2007 Convertible, are there two sensors, one for each side, or just one for the front brakes? Manual mentions that when the light goes on there is one sensor in the front and one in the back. Don't want to buy more than I need

+1 , They have a two prong socket and they clip into the pad then clip along the brake lines.

Here are the sensor front and rear,

Sensor is just a wire that is cut from rubbing on the rotor...
Many cars are running with them bypassed....so you might want to feel the pad through the wheels...
If the pad is about as thick as the backer plate....it is time.

odds are when you see the light only one, front or rear tripped .... usually fronts wear much faster than rears (but there are exceptions)

So when the light comes on (assuming your sensor has not been bypassed) you want to LOOK and see what you actually need to change.

07 'vert being GEN1 the system does not tell you which axle has tripped

Ron,
Others have already told you what to buy, and where sensors are.

Something else to consider - if you are diligent about inspecting pads wear, or swap them out frequently for autoX/DE duty (and thus inspect their consumption rate with your own eyes regularly), the sensors become both irrelevant and a nuisance.
If the above description applies to you, you can just short circuit the sensors (solder them or twist two ends tightly together, then insulate), and tie them to the strut towers and out of the way.

At least that's what I eventually ended up doing on all my cars.

btw, after replacing a GEN1 sensor you need to reset the system:

After replacing the sensor, turn the ignition key to the #2 position for around 30 seconds without turning over the engine...the light goes out!
