B F Goodrich g-Force Rival question

B F Goodrich g-Force Rival question
I have a set of B F Goodrich g-Force Rivals, 215/45ZR17-91W. Two have lots of tread life left; the other two probably won't pass inspection. It appears that this tire is no longer available from B F Goodrich, but have been replaced by them with several 'look-alikes.' Can someone suggest what would be an acceptable substitute if I'm only buying 2? TIA.

If you want to match the Extreme Summer Rival tires then-
see

Dunlop Direzza II star spec $144.20 each at tirerack, call Alex at ext 4294 to order two and put them on the rears.
Or

$124.20 each, very grippy tire in dry or wet.
You wore out two tires because they were left on the fronts which are used more heavily when turning braking and accelerating. Rotating tires every 4000 miles helps to allow tires to wear more evenly. Keep tire pressures up too for best life and performance.
Another option is to go with a Max Summer tire of which there are many choices in 215/45-17. In general compared to the BFG Rivals, Max Summer tires will wear longer and be more comfortable with less tire noise but the rubber is not quite as grippy.
