New tires
I have a 2009 cooper s clubman...stock everything. I need to buy new tires and not many local places carry the recommended size (195/55R16). I need an all season tire because NC gets really hot and really cold so I do need to be able to handle some snow and ice. I don't really want to buy 2 sets of tires because there's really only 3 months out of the year that it gets bad. Would going up to 205 or 215 effect the mpg very much? I use this as my everyday driver and the commute is pretty short. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

See the videos and surveys. Driveguard is available in 195/55-16 or 205/55-16. The latter will give a little more cornering grip, a little more ground clearance for the snow, and will provide a slightly better ride. The Conti is available in 205/50-16 and 205/55-16.
The tire choice will matter more than the tire size and you're talking about a few mpg at most. The 205/55-16 will reduce the overly optimistic error in the speedo somewhat.
