Snow cables For A MINI R53?

I live in the snow and would LOVE to be able to use chains on this car, but when I looked above the tire there is a bolt about 1/2" above the tire that looks to be part of the suspension system, it looks like it could possible destroy the suspension if chains are used.

A few weeks after this observation I noticed an R53 in my town with snow cables on. I want a set as a backup, do they safely work?

Only use chains when you can and at low speeds as that what most of them are used for, some options here>

Snow chain will be bouncy and the most aggressive, snow chains with cords are more quiet , but less aggressive. Snow sock work and should only be used on snowy roads, not dry roads.
