R53 Wheel Fitment & Look with 15's
I came across a used set of used 15x7 ET30 4x100 TRM C1M wheels, but I cant figure out if they will fit my MINI or not.
I have an 06 MCS with stock suspension and OEM 17's.
My other concern is that the tires are 195/50/15, and I believe this might be outside of the recommended size. While they might be ok, I think the wheel gap will be huge and could look ridiculous. If the deal is right, I could always try to resell the tires and get something slightly bigger to mount on the wheels.
Does anybody know if these wheels will fit the MINI? Also, I cant seem to find any pictures (other then winter set-ups), but is anybody running 15's with the stock ride height/suspension?

Do you know first hand that the wheels will fit? I think that 30 offset might rub.

Try Tirerack and see if they sell those wheels or something with similar offset. Their wheel chooser seems to be pretty good.
I put 16x7 Enkeis with 43 offset and 205/55-16 Conti tyres on my 04 R53. 13mm extra seems like a lot, but there is a fair bit of room between my tyres and the guards.

With 15x7 et30 compared to OEM MINI wheels and tires:
You will be 11.7mm further from the inner suspension and poke out 24.4 mm more, which is quite a bit.
175/65-15 is the OEM tire size for the 15x5.5" OEM wheel on the base cooper.
195/50-15 is too small a tire diameter for daily street driving.
For a 15x7" wheel, you can try 195/60-15 which gives you a good tire selection and will fit OEM suspension.
So yes it will fit but it will poke out an inch.

You can run a 16x8 ET30 lowered and not rub. It won't "poke out" an inch. A 15x7 ET 30 will still sit under the fenders no question. It will be about 1.5" further out towards the fender than a stock 15" wheel.

Alias, they'll absolutely fit with standard R53 front calipers. However, it'll look ridiculous unless you really lower your car.
I run 15x8 Enkei RPF1's with a 28et, 205/50's, lowered on PSS10 coilovers and there is ZERO rubbing. 30et's and 7" wide will never rub.
FYI, lightweight 15's on an R53 are THE way to go. You will love it! It's a completely different car.

Both those sizes exceed the recommended ±3% variance from stock ... 205/55-15 and 195/55-15 are the appropriate sizes.
