Thanks,
What wheel are you using? JCW kit 18" or other aftermarket 18"? What suspension do you have? Stock or lowered suspension?

The stock tire for JCW wheels is 205/40-18 but is very limited in which tires come in that size. At tirerack.com there is only the Dunlop SP sport 01 DSST runflat for $255 per tire.

In 215/35-18 there are about 13 tires and it is the usual size to use with 18" rims for the MINI. These would be non runflats. see

18" tires

Many thanks information. Currently I have 3 wheels choice for
my 04' JCW MCS with stock suspension

A) SSR GT1
B) JCW
c) Centerlinewheels

Your suggestion is greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Philip

Is the JCW 18's the same ones that Dave has (below)? if so, this is
the best looking 18's imo.

Dave, I borrowed your signature for the sake of expression (?).

The JCW is the only MINI 18" wheel at this time and does look reasonably good. Weighs about 23.5 pounds.

SSR comps in anthracite :18x7.5" are pretty darn light at 14 pounds ($399 each) but not as pretty as the GT1s 18x7.5" 17 pounds($329 each).

I have polished centerline RPMs in 17" which are doing pretty good. If you get them in 18" just don't get the chrome wheels as they are a bit heavier and more costly. Rough weight on the 18x7" are 16.6 pounds. About $399+ each. 42mm offset. For deals see-
