Roto-Tech or Power Slot?

Hey all,

I'm considering getting a new set of rotors/pads. I was looking at the Power Slots, and also some Roto-Tech cross drilled and slotted rotors.

They are almost the same price from where I'd buy, so I wasn't sure. I know several people with the Power Slots, and their happy, but I wasn't sure about the Roto-Techs.

Anyone have any input?

Thanks!
Miles

If you'll be doing any track days, I'd personally stay away from cross-drilled rotors and go with slotted only... even for autocrossing, I'd stay away from cross-drilled rotors...

The Power-Slot rotors rock!

Yeah, I agree... I'll probably end up getting the Power Slots still...

I just put on some power slots. Friday is a track day, so I'm looking forward to trying them out. Don't worry, I've put on about 500 miles or so, so their bedded.

Assuming the final product is the same size as stock, the true performance of the new part will mirror that of any stock rotor. Granted slots, holes, dimples, or all of the above will add some appearance gains and 'may' help wipe pads, the torque value and thermal capacity will remain the same.

Lots of people seem pleased with the powerslot rotors. I think when it comes time to do my brakes, I may put them on as well.
