Man, those s-lites with runflats are heavy. I received my Kosei k1 ts rims today with kumho tires and they weigh a tad under 36lbs each. When I took off the s-lite I could really feel the difference between the two. I bolted down the rims and took it for a short drive and retightened the bolts afterwards. I don't know how much better the tires are but the turn in isn't as quick as the rf. No surprise there because the sidewalls are so stiff. The ride seems smoother over bumps. I'll have a better feel for it tomorrow.

No pics of it yet. But here's the tires sitting in the back of the car.

What size are the rims and tires you’re now using? Also what’s the off set of the Kosei’s? Have you noticed any rubbing?

The offset is suppose to be 42mm and the tires are 215/45/17. Our coop isn't lowered so it doesn't rub.

I thought it was a photo op!

The s-lites with runflats are so heavy! I could feel it when I took the wheels. No way I would put them in the back like the Koseis. I would have broken my back!

My suggest is search ebay. And keep searching. I passed up a chance to buy a set of four SSR GT1 18 inchers in white last year for $450.00. Wasn't sure I wanted 18's and didnt' feel like reselling them if I didn't. Maybe, you'll see something you'll like.

Wouldn't white rims be a real pain to keep clean? It seems to me that you'd have to take the wheels off every time you wanted to give them a bath. I do, however, think that white on your cr/white would look bad a$$.

I have white S-Lites now and, with EBC Green brake pads, they stay clean for at least a week.

It rubbed twice yesterday on the freeway on a couple of dips with 2 ppl in the car. But more damping will cure that..one day..
