245/45 is VERY agressive (but not for a 740I - just kidding) on Mini's

215/35 is my 18 inch size recomendation

with or without trimming, you'd be literally rubbing against the wheel well, or worse the suspension

the widest i've ever seen is 235/40 on 17s i believe....

Rubbing would be the understatment.

Same tire Nero M+S 215/35/18 - minimal rub if any!

245/45 18 is HUGE. Chances are it will not fit a MINI no matter what you do. More than likely it'll rub on the shock body/strut housing on the inside AND the outer wheel well. Even if you do get it to fit somehow, the rolling diameter of that tire will be around 26.7 inches, which is more than 10% larger than the stock ~24 inch diameter. That tire is just a poor choice for a MINI, I'd seriously recommend against trying to fit it.

However...if you do decide to "Monster Garage" it and bust out the fenders, post pics!!

wide body kit! maybe a konigsder kit and it SHOULD fit 8.5 inch wide rims, would would translate to a 245 width tire... but everyone's right in saying the speedo is gonna be really off
