Michelin's PAX system

Alex,
This looks to be a nice runflat concept.
Will this type of runflat come in a size for the Mini?

I believe they designed the PAX system specifically for tires that have a tall sidewall, which isn't a problem on the MINI.

Tom,
I thought that too. But, Michelin says one of the main reasons for the PAX system is because current RF's have to stiff a sidewall. I hoping it is not just because of the epidemic level of tall sidewalls

The best way to get PAX system is to buy a vehcile

1 - 05 Bently Silver Shadow
2 - 05 Honda Oddesy

Those are the only 2 applications this has been applied to, yet. Now I am no naysayer but...anyone old enough to remeber TRX?!???

And I have been reading on Honda boards about the problems Odyssey owners are having with the PAX system. Basically, most dealers aren't equipped to handle it, and the only solution is to buy a completely new wheel-tire set. Since PAX only comes with the top end Odyssey model, I have a hard time seeing dealers willing to purchase the equipment for it.
