Simple question on front brake calipers

I was changijng my front brakes wheen i realized the two pins were different which is for the top and which is for the bottom. The brakes caliper is red and says "Works" on it from a 2008 r56

Pull a bolt on the opposite side to see which way they are installed. When in doubt, try this.

Normally that is exactly what I would have done. But I pulled both brakes, sat them on a bench and pulled out all four pins. When I cleaned them I noticed two of each kind. It might not be top and bottom, it might be right and left -- each caliper had its own pins?

The long one without the rubber is the 'top' one.
