Abarth wheels on an R53?

Does the fiat abarth wheels fit on an R53? 4x98 17x7, ET 35mm I believe. Not 100% sure of the offset. Are they the same as Sparco wheels?

Those would look cool! I like the more open design of the wheels to show off the brakes and suspension.

Might want to check the center bore. If he bore is smaller, will have to either have them machined, which means more money, or use spacer, which means even lower offset.

I have late model Miata wheels on my Clubman - 17x7 +45. I chose to use 8mm spacers to get past the center bore issue. (The Miata bores are smaller)

Those look great! That might be a better option.

I found the hub bore on the Abarth is 58.1 the mini being 56.1 so that would have to make a centering ring of 1mm. I don't think that is even possible.

Plus the Abarth wheels are 4x98 not 100. So I would need wobble bolts.

Yeah, not sure I would do the wobble bolts without hub centering....

I ran wobbles and would also highly recommend a hub ring. If you don't, it is going to be very hard to get that centered and may get wobbles even if the wheel and tire are perfectly balanced.

Are you asking because you already have the Abarth wheels, or found a great deal you didn't want to pass up? Because otherwise that style is not particularly unique, and you can look for something similar in a size that will actually fit.

They look a lot like Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels. I'd go with those rather than squeezing the Abarth wheels with wobble bolts. But whatever.

Two points on that wheel choice that I haven't seen mentioned yet:

1.) They are high quality forged wheels, but not particularly lightweight. (18.9 lbs/ea.)
2.) They have "ABARTH" cast into the lip of the wheel. If cross branding bothers you

Otherwise +1 to what has been said.

BTW love the Miata wheels. Looks great!

Those just look like Team Dynamics Race 1.2 - wheels that are very available and affordable. And reasonably light.

Edit: Just realized that I'm just parroting MiniBeagle. Oops. That's what I get for skimming the first couple replies and then just commenting.

I saw a good deal for $150. I let it go because I wasn’t sure I could use them
