White Wheels

I'm in the market for some wheels. I'm after white, 17 inch, 200 dollars or under, preferably. I want something similar to the Exel TZ 10s. I'd just order them, but I've heard lots of mixed things about wheelmax. I'm also considering the Team Dynamics Racing Pro Racing 1. Any other suggestions?

Check out Kosei K1 Racings in White, available in both 16" and 17" sizes. TireRack stocks them.

p.s. I too think that the MINI looks best while wearing white shoes. Does that mean I'm ready for the shuffleboards in Miami Beach?

I just got my TZ-10's in the mail yesterday! LOL

I ordered them from wheelmax too. Let me just say, The service was top notch. The wheels came via UPS in boxes, Wheels were heavily shrink wrapped, no scratches. The wheels came mounted, balanced, Chrome lugs, valve stems, and socket included. Be sure and purchase their road hazard warranty.. 50 bucks for the first year 30 bucks for an aditional year. Covers curb rash, dents ect. Send them the damaged wheel they ship you a new one no questions asked. The only problem I have with them is that they did not mention that I would need hubcentric spacers. They provided me a pamphlet in one of the boxes with a website I could purchase them from for 40 bucks. Overall I am very happy. The wheels are very nice quality and look SICK on the car! I will post pics soon! Working on brakes rotors and springs first. the mods never end! LOL

What about the offset? I've seen them on a few Minis, but never heard anything about the offset, so I'm going to assume that they're compatible?

Oh, and speaking of the hubcentric rings, www.justforwheels.com has plastic ones for 40 bucks, but that seems a little steep for 4 plastic rings. Reccomendations on where I could find more for cheaper?

Excellent thread as I am in the market for the same/similar this spring. The TZ-7's look good also.

No hubcentric rings huh? This will be my first set of aftermarket wheels...I keep reading about metal ones being better???

(you're welcome Jeru )

I've been very pleased with the 3 sets of Exel wheels I've purchased from WheelMax to date. No their Customer Service isn't top-shelf, but the wheels are better than their price may indicate.

Lookin' awesome Jeru!

All Exel wheels have a centerbore of 73.1mm. MINI's hub is 56.1mm

Well, I got them in the mail, and they look awesome, but they didn't come with any lugs and the stock ones don't fit. Ideas on what size I need to get? I'd just take care of this myself, but I'm at school and my MINI is 100 miles away, so my dad is trying to get it done, but he's not much of a car guy

Can’t help you with the lug size in fact I have my own question about lugs and I hope you don’t mind me tagging this in to your thread.

I bought a set of White 10 Spoke Excel wheels from of Ryphile and just love them so I’m sure you’ll love yours.

Does anyone know the size of the standard MINI 17 inch wheel lugs? I seem to have misplaced the ones I had and now have a flat with no lugs to put my spare on. My MCS is my only car so this makes it hard to drive to work.

Bump!

Anyone have any info on how I can get 'em to fit? They look lonely sitting with rubber on 'em in the floor.
