What Size Rotor? 2013 JCW Paceman All4

HI! Getting ready to change the brakes on my 2013 JCW Paceman, and need to make sure I get the right size rotors. Where can I find the right spec for this model? It has the 18" wheels, and the single piston caliper brakes...also 6 speed manual.

Thanks,

Jim

Looking at a kit that contains Zimmerman rotors. Are these coated rotors? Tired of looking at rust.

Yes they are coated. That’s a decent kit, you should be happy with it. I run the Akebono pads on my Clubman. They are a good OEM alternative pad.

Ok, great! How long should the coating treatment last, considering that the rotor will wear over time? Also, I noticed that the right side rotors were worn down much more than the left. Maybe the previous owner only had one side changed. Brakes work fine, as long as you are not in snow. Last winter, the traction control would apply the brakes, and it would pull to the right, then back. Very strange feeling withe the front end moving back and forth. Not what I expected from an all wheel drive.

Found out today that the rotors are out of stock, and won't be back in stock until August. Most of the others on the ECS site are back ordered also. I could get the Mini rotors, but I don't think they are coated. What would be another good choice? I see some choices on Rock Auto, but not all of them specify whether they are for JCW or not. Not sure if it makes a difference as long as the rotors are 307 front and 296 rear. I think this is a single piston caliper, it looks like it.

Found an identical set at FP Euro for about the same price, and parts are in stock. Should have it by next weekend.

Are you sure about those brakes? My daughter's 2013 JCW CW has the Brembo sourced calipers with the 316mm rotors up front.

Had the VIN ran before I ordered the parts, and this is the size we came up with. I'll know more when I start on it next weekend. Will match the rotors up then.
