brake pad recommendation - 1 track event

My teen and I are taking his 2015 Mini Paceman S 4All to Palmer motor speedway in a couple of weeks. Probably the only event we will do until next summer. I just recently bought him this car from a Mini dealership and planned on just having the oil, brake fluid and pads changed. I have zero idea how well this car has been services so it will also get a once over. Any recommendation on pads that will be used 99% on street? What about brake fluid?

I'm leaning toward Hawk HP+ but can't find rears pads anywhere?

Are you running clockwise or counterclockwise? Makes a big difference on how much the brakes will get used.

EBC yellow pads work great, only drawback is the brake dust. I run them daily and really hard on the dragon.

I've been running Hawk HPS on my R53 since not too long after I bought it (in 2003) because I could not stand all the brake dust turning my white wheels black in less than a week of driving.

My car is only ever driven on the street. I like that HPS has good bite, good pedal feel and low dusting.

if you can get the new rockauto trackday pads (not the spec) they work surprisingly well as a dual duty pad and are cheap.

ebc yellows work well until you get them HOT at the track then they lose a ton of cold bite/torque and take significant pressure to use on the street, very annoying
