New M7 brake conversion
Hi All,
I feel like a little kid getting ready to go to Disneyland, since AMVIV2 is only five days away. In the past couple of weeks, I've been finishing all of the projects on the Frackmobile and here's the final item I added.
Peter and Randy (M7 Tuning) have completed their new brake conversion package and were very generous in letting me have one of the first setups. The M7 big brake package comes with two-piece front rotors (12.9" slotted and ventilated) and stainless brake lines. A bracket is included, which allows you to retain the stock calipers. They just finished design and production of a rear brake package, but I don't have it yet.
Eric at Helix Minisports was great in helping pick the right pad/fluid combination to finish the conversion. We chose the Mintex M1144 performance pads for the front and EBC Redstuff for the rear, along with Racing Blue brake fluid. Thank you *very* much Eric for all your expertise!
Here's some pictures of the new rotor, completed front setup (yes, that is a Hamann front splitter in the picture) and rear setup. The tires are BF Goodrich KDW2 G-Force (215/45/17), rims: chrome Momo X1 17's, car is lowered with H-Sport springs. Also, equipped with H-Sport front and rear competition sway bars purchased from M7 Tuning.
Look forward to seeing all of you at AMVIV2.

Those are the same ones which Steve has been working on and starting to sell. We will not be selling them as a regular part of our line at this time.
We obtained them from Steve for Fracky and upgraded the bolt package to our sepcifications . As Fracky received them from us he was under the impression that they were our product. We may offer this system with some mild modifications in the future but at this time we have not accepted them as a new product. I have a set of front and rear on my car for extensive evaluation and will be showing them on Steve's behalf in Vegas this weekend. Fracky we look forward to seeing you there i'ts been awhile since we have seen the Fracky Mobile
