2percooper, I have the stock slites and they are not racy enough for me, what would be unique?
If these wheels are in your price range, then more power to ya
If a racy look is what you are looking for, maybe something like Rays Engineering? Volk or Gram Lights are awesome wheels, and I've only seen a couple MINIs with these wheels, thus being unique.
I noticed that the Tire Rack is now carrying Gram Lights. Take a look see at those and maybe they will tickle your fancy.
If I were to get some new wheels, Id get some custom 2pc/3pc wheels like volk..well im getting new wheels, but its a secret
i was looking @ some of Volk's lineup and these stuck out:
I'd go for a set of 18's... but they have to fit my Brembo's with 20 mm spacers on the front, and then manage to not rub any worse than the current s-lites do.
The wheels in your "photoshop-render" are of 3 dimensional wheels with complex concaving towards the hub, while all of your links show "simple" 2 dimensional designs completely different from your attempts at description.
You arent the only one who sees it. But getting any sort of concaved design on a MINI cooper to replicate ANY of the ///M cars would be next to impossible without some super wide fenders. The fact of the matter is, the mini doesnt allow much offset at all. We are talking 38 is the minimum offset, and i dont even think that works with 18's...i think you need to go higher. You'll notice that's why some BMWs have huge deep lips, while the deepest lip you can get on a mini is about an inch at most with 8 inch wide rims.
So you could concave them, they just wouldnt work without a huge wide-bodyikit
