Cheap decent/good tires :)
I need new tires because my stupid runflats are getting really worn down, I dont need anything fancy and would like something that is pretty cheap. I want them to last long and I am not worried about crazy performance or anyhting, just every day driving. If you guys could help me out that would be great. I forget the size, but I want the tires to be a little bit wider but still fit on my rims... they are the same size as the stock sport package ones, I think its 17x7???

The best prices I have found for quality tires in Orange County is at Super Autobacs in Stanton/Garden Grove. Example: Toyo Proxes4 215/45/17 are $94 each plus $10 mounting & balancing. They have much cheaper tires, though. This place is amazing - like a giant candy store for high end go-fast goodies.

If you have the stock wheels and springs, 215/45/17 should not rub. Keep in mind that the 215 is the width in mm, and 45 is the aspect ratio - not the actual sidewall measurement. What that means is that 45 represents 45% of the width so on a 215 wide tire "45" has a 96.75mm sidewall while "45" is a 92.25mm sidewall on a 205, 87.75mm on a 195, etc. These are rough sizes and may vary depending on the tire.
