brake lines for $75??????

Guys,
I'm in no way calling these parts junk. They could be fine. My beef is not with the hoses it's simply the lack of supprt for your paying vendors by way of some of these 'deals'. I don't even sell factory replacements, and I'm waving the flag for those who do! Maybe the other guys don't care who you buy your parts from. Dunno.

My company does the same thing.....
We make stuff that's a lot more than brake lines. Our manufacturing capacity keeps going overseas, or at least across border.....
We put more automation and self diagnostics into the product, and some even have remote access. All this is to lower overhead because our prices are getting hammered, all the time that the product content increases.
But Todd is correct, the money you're saving by going to a eBay like automated distribution system isn't just the manufacting savings, it's the support costs too. As long as the support information (advice) is available for free, some will want to by the no-name. The quality may be just fine.
Look at the OBX racing header. $155, but no cat. That's a heck of a price drop from what the others costs. eBay has sold a bunch of them to NAMers. At least there a person you can talk to or e-mail.....
caveat emptor! But this may just be a really good deal on lines..... Buy two sets and have one tested to failure! That's the only way to really know.
