Here's the situation guys and gals. Been looking around for a choice of rims that I like. Not in any hurry. Want to get just the right look. And there's still a couple months worth of winter left, so no hurries.
Found a light weight rim style that I like. But the thing is, they're only available in a 15" size.
Can anyone post or send me a link to pics of their MCS with 15" rims on it? Has anyone downsized to a smaller rim/tire on an MCS? I would like to see how much more fender gap there is by going down to that small of a rim/tire package.
Also, if you could, please post any positive or negative opinions on why a 15" would or wouldn't be a good choice to go with. I'm kinda green in the area of rims and tires here. Still wondering what tires to go with. Not too high or low of a profile. I hear a lot of good things from Toyo.
I know I'll be saving weight going from the 16" X-Lite w/ runflats. So that's a good positive aspect. Thinking mainly about handling/cornering, and fender gap.
I've seen several of the regular MINI's with the 15 inchers. But I have a MCS, not a Cooper. I want to compare and see what that size would look like on a car similar to mine(MCS).
Thanx in advance to any one whom may shed some light here.
Cheers,

There is a 15" with a 225 on a previous post I made. Check it out at the end of this thread: LINK

Thanx ficcion for the reply. You have a nice set up there with the rims and tires. Not sure I like the fender gap found on the EB MCS at the bottom of the thread there though. That's quite a bit. Don't really want to have to lower the car just due to putting wheels on.
Anyone else like to share pics or opinions?
Cheers,

15's are light, and help you go, and stop in the most agressive mannor. Lower ride height to remover fender gap.... We're getting the Koni's for the MCS soon.
