Wilwood Clearance Question

I have the Wilwood race brake kit installed about 2 weeks ago. While they cleared my 17" fine, my stock 16" x-lite only have about 1-2 milimeter of clearance at the spokes . Do you think they required spacer?

Thanks

Nope as in no they don't need a spacer or as in no they won't clear? Just trying to get the right answer as I've heard multiple different answers to this question

No, they do not. 1-2mm is close but unless your bearings are junk they won't move that much. Check all your wheels however. You might be surprised at one of them.

Yessir. They are included in the rear rotor kit. (!)
Yea, you could do them on the stock rotor as well I guess, but that really wasn't the plan...and they'll be a bit longer than needed.

What about possible wheel deflection? I've been told by multiple sources that 2-3 mm was a minimum clearance. Or is that clearance solely needed for bearing variances?

Deflection could well become an issue. I'd look closer at both wheel bearing issues and at All the wheels as well. Not uncommon to find one of them a bit fatter than another. I'll stand by the "it's very close" comment and I'd not expect a problem. If in doubt I have a thin spacer for the bigger kits and the R90 wheel if that helps.
