16x7" wheels. maximum offset in front and rear
I am looking at some 16x7" wheels. they will have custom offsets. I want the wheels to sit just inside the flares. what is the lowest I can go to accomplish this? I'm thinking ET40 front, and ET30-35 rear. Can I go lower in the rear? I plan to run 215/50/16 tires on them with stock suspension.
Thanks!

You might want to call or email Alex@tirerack.com for some advice on fitment.
Stock suspension allows you to normally consider 16x7" wheels with offsets of roughly +37mm to +48mm range.
A 215/50-16 tire has an outer diameter usually of 24.5" which is roughly stock sized.
Front offset of +40mm should be OK but the rear offset isn't within range-
just confirm that with Alex. It's possible +35mm might work.
Are you running stock camber settings?
