Ecsta 711 experiences?

I just bought some 15x7s for my MCS and am in need of summer tires. Anyone using Kumho 711s? I rarely hit the track & would like a fairly long-wearing & (at least somewhat) comfortable, economical tire.
If any of you have actual experience with these I'd like to hear from you. Thanks!

Good tire, Sticky for what they are, my experience was always about 15K-20K at the most for wear...

I can vouch for Ecsta 712; had them on my previous car for 25k miles, and looks like they could go for 10k more. the tires were quiet and was wearing evenly (except for the shoulders, mostly due to aggressive driving ). They were also drama free for the rain-slicked roads here in LA.
I've heard good things about Yoko ES100 as well, the minus being noise and wear, which is a fairly common tradeoff for performance tires... more wear=more noise .

True, True, but I have ran 2 sets of 711 and 3 sets of 712's, and NONE went further than 20K. Ran on 2 different MK2 Jetta's & MK4 Jetta's. Performance was decent but they really did wear quickly, as I used to get 24-26K off my Yoko AVS Sports and Toyo T1s's.... My advice is bump up $15-$20 a tire and get a little better tire...
