Wow! I fear that I have made a complete circle here. Between my own misgivings and experiences (confirmed by Wesport) and the strongly worded argument from JeffS, I am right back where I started - confused and frustrated with the lack of choice!!! impatient:impatient

the more expensive tuner wheels like SSR, Volk, Advan usually come with aluminum centering rings.

check with alex on the selection. He has some nice wheels over there at the rack. i think there was also an online shop that specifically sold aluminum centering rings. you give them the wheel bore size and your hub bore size and you're set.

I am fairly sure that God "Carol Smith" had some pretty nasty things to say about non hub centric wheels being used on the track. Unfortunelty my complete selction of "xxxxxxxxx to win" books is packed away at the moment. I will try to dig our "Prepare to Win" that I think covered this issue. I will quote it here if I can find it. If you do use anything else - just please check torque after every track session. even on my hub centric slipstreams they need a click or two after a few sessions.

Offset

So Ok the Slipstreams will have the right bore, but is the 45 offset the right fit or should I go with the 40 offset and use hub centric ringg?
