Good morning.I enjoy the look of my S-lytes,with my MCS being BRG with
white roof the white wheeles just go together.the only thing i dont like is
having to clean my wheels 3 to 4 times a week one of the first mods
i have planned is a brake upgrade, i'm steering to Hawk HPS or Hawk Ceramics pads, stainless brake lines, upgraded fluid and solid caliper bushings.
When i can sneak the funds without the wife finding out and by the
way the runflats are toast

I really dont understand why people sell them???? I know they are heavy, but they really do look better than anything else out there. Im serious. All other wheels all look alike, they all look like boy racer wheels, which is what they are, light racing wheels. S-Lite is THE MINI wheel. It's totally unique to the MINI (and Mini).
I like my car to keep looking good, so I keep the S-Lites on.
The other good thing about people selling the S-Lites is that they arent really that common anymore, so my Cooper S with "factory" wheels, doesn't look like it's some regular factory standard issue.
S-Lites for the win. (I have 8 of them, hahaha).

Yes, they're "heavy", but I'm not racing my car in a competitive arena in which I need to count every ounce of my car. When I drove to work the other day I'm pretty sure it only took me about 2 seconds longer due to the "heavy" wheels. I can live with that.
My final opinion on the wheels: They look great on the car and are super easy to keep clean.

A big pro for the S-lites are that they are built very well. The weight may be a downside of the wheel, but for an alloy wheel, they will hold up well to the everyday use and road abuse like pot holes and other assorted fun stuff. Most lightweight wheels won't take the daily abuse and are only made for the track. As with most things, there are compromises...

I like a simpler stock look, most of the aftermarket stuff looks like a Honda to me.

I like the look of the S-Lites. I took mine off for my SSR Comps and GS-D3 tires for the summer. The S-Lites will go back in in the winter, though the car never sees snow or salt.
S-Lites are probably the most popular wheel on MCSs. Many lose them in an effort to look different, lose weight as part of a performance increase or like me, both.
